This sports center is located on a thirteen hectares, site. Its program includes enclosed facilities such as an olympic swimming pool, a sports hall and corresponding open air athletic grounds. The architectural and structural approaches of the building are strongly integrated into local landscapes : a plateau with an expressway. The architect has conceived a series of prestressed thin concrete vaults which fan out from a central point.


These vaults create rich and diversified architectural volumes and spaces. Natural lighting dispersed within the vaults further animates these interior spaces. The complete interplay between the inside and outside spaces given to this complex a specific architectural atmosphere complemented by pools, promenades and children playgrounds.
